We need your help to change lives!
The work of Eyes Ears Nose and Paws couldn't be accomplished without the help of donors like you. Really.
We train and place assistance dogs in partnerships with people whose lives are transformed by those partnerships. Though our dogs are working dogs (and they love their jobs!), they don't earn money and they can't contribute financially to the cost of their own care and training. Unfortunately, that cost is not insubstantial. It costs $20,000 to raise, train, and place an assistance dog.
In order to offer our dogs to those who are most in need, we can't require all of our clients to pay the full expense of an assistance dog. For the very reason that an assistance dog will be transformative for them, most clients are in financial stress -- their disabilities affect their daily lives to the degree that it interferes with their finances. This may be because they are unable to work, their medical bills are overwhelming, they have had to change careers, or they have experienced discrimination that led to financial problems. For our clients, these stories are particularly common, and the situation is even more pressing given the current economic climate.
We ask our clients to pay 25%-100% of the cost of an assistance dog, based on their ability to pay. Donations are critical to cover the rest of the expense so that we can help clients regardless of their economic situation. Your financial support ensures that we won't have to turn anyone away because of her financial situation.
Eyes Ears Nose and Paws is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, and all donations to our organization are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
We need your help to change lives! Any donation you make will bring you into our circle of supporters, without whom this work could not happen.
